What Program does MAK have to offer me ...

McCoy's Action Karate (MAK) has four martial arts programs.

For Children, we have MAK Karate, which includes separate programs designed for 4 age groups. Power Turtles: Age 2 ½ - 3 years of age. Tiny Tigers: Age 4 -5 years of age. Little Dragons: Age 6 - 7. Karate Kids: Age 8 - 12.

For Teens and Adults we have 3 separate Programs. MAK teaches the Korean Martial Art called Tang Soo Do, which includes traditional Karate, a powerful and complete system of Self Defense and a fantastic Conditioning, Strengthening and Fitness component. Tang Soo Do students also learn traditional oriental weapons training including Sticks, Nunchucks, Bo and more. We have also created and certified our own Mixed Martial Arts brand called CDF Training, where students can select Fitness Training or MMA Training. Fitness CDF Training has Kickboxing as the core of the program, including Thai Boxing. Students in this class train as we trained for the ring, they just hit bags and pads rather than each other. Finally, our MMA classes include elements of Karate, Judo, Ground Fighting, Boxing, Thai Boxing and an intuitive self-defense curriculum taken from the Israeli Self-Defense Systems.

The owners of MAK have some extended backgrounds and experiences that impact our confidence when we tell you we will change your life or the lives of your family members. We are all College Graduates, with degrees in Physics, Psychology, Theology and Economics. We have been awarded Eagles Scout from BSA and Gold Award from GSA. Not only are the founders active in teaching at MAK, but our own child is now a college graduate and business owner. All three owners teach at church Sunday schools and have traveled around the world teaching elementary school and high school students how to achieve success in their lives. We don't ask you to trust us because we are martial arts instructors. We ask you to trust us because we have a proven track record of helping others achieve their goals and have lived these very methods in our own lives and the lives of our families. We want to help you reach your goals!
